The everyday happenings of being a mom can definitely wear you down... It takes a lot of energy to entertain tiny humans all day long!
How do you unwind after they go to sleep?
Here's how I do:
Go outside (weather permitting) and take in the night air
Say a prayer, thanking God for another day (no matter how stressful it may have been)
Take time to think through the day and prayerfully meditate on all the things that have happened (be careful to not overthink though!)
I often find myself stressing over tiny things that I could have done better, I think a lot of moms do... If that's you, try to remember to just laugh at yourself and move on.
Life is too short to take anything too seriously - after all, no one gets out alive anyway ;)
